LEGO The Lord of the Rings

Performance is great and no visual bugs. However, there is a part in level 2 where Merry has to fish, and for some reason no version of Gamehub or its various settings will prevent Merry from running in place instead of fishing. I've tried various fixes I found online (using a keyboard, using Vsync, using split-screen) but nothing works, so I played that section on a PC and then transfered my save file back again.
